Following the exciting 10K race there was a fun 50-yard dash for children under age 10. The winners were Sandy Cuomo, age 10; and Ben Howard, age 9. They each won a gift certificate to Double Rainbow toys in Water Mill, which also generously offered free ice cream to anyone who stopped in the store and had participated in the race. All the children went home with a Spookley the Square Pumpkin goody bag that included the book, DVD, stuffed Spookley and a light toy, donated by the author, Joe Troiano.
This year's sponsors, headlined by Vox Magazine included Maran Corporate Risk Associates; Lexus of Southampton; Rafferty Capital Markets; Hamptons.com; Breakwater Design; Norsic Sanitation, East End DJs & Entertainment; and Manhattan-based Really Cool Foods.
